Ignition cylinder Problems

Well I baught a new one and now that im going to put it in ive found out the new one that i got is different than the old one. My question is the Sr5(v6) model different from the dlx(4cylinder) model perhaps? The only difference is the lock cylinder release pin location. i took a pic, any input would be awsome since i need to get this back together. The new one is on the left with the key, the old one is on the right. You can see the release pins are i different spots. I can take a pic of the steering column so u can see why it wont work if that helps. Could it just be the wrong part. Ive never gotten a wrong part from they guy before he knows alot.

Im asking if anyone recognizes the new one and knows why they are different? like if the new one is for one with tilt or something. Obviouly i have to go get the proper one.

tell 'em everything- non-tilt, automatic (floor or column shift may make a difference)

The one on the left is the same one I bought for my 1st gen 4runner (DLX 4cyl.). I don't think it matters if it's tilt, automatic, or whatever, it's the same for all. I think they just gave you the wrong one.
