Igniter coil resistance test

I've read numerous "22re is missing" threads, I've tested everything and it checked out except for my signal generator testing at 206 ohms.

The range is 140-180

I can't find anywhere where I can order just the signal generator.

I'm trying to find a new signal generator but the dealership says I can't just get that one piece, that I need to get the whole distributor is that true?

Well I got a new signal generator from RockAuto.com its made by Airtex part No. 4P1151, however its not within the specs that my FSM calls out for. I don't know if I should use it or not? Anyone chime in?

The resistance is within Airtex's specifications but not Toyota's.

Are you checking the resistance while it is at operating temp or cold? The number will drop when it cools. trd parts for you shows having the pickup coil you can buy seperate.
