Haha...the same with my girlfriend! I got water into my intake and I'm hopping in and out of my truck and she's just sitting there listening to music...not realizing how far we would have to walk to get reception

your hair may be longer... but I have to ask... why does my 2wd have about as much clearance between the tire and fender well as scuba's 4wd?

and I'm sure you can tell I'm not a 'small, bald, dude'.
Okay question...how is the 2wd 3.5" Fabtech kit holding up?
holding up just fine. hit a bump in the truck and it just sort of dips into the bump, comes up, and settles like the bump wasn't ever there.
did I mention the shocks were included with the kit for $400, off of craigslist?

"A wheel drive" 'til I get the lsd in the back.

To join the "in a court of law" way of thinking, those of you with stock 4wd only turn two at a time, thus making you a 2wd. Not many true 4wd's comparatively.

Back to the real world, I'm VERY curious to get the lsd in this thing to see how it handles off road, have had a stocker 4wd as well as a "true" 4wd. Interested if it'll keep up with a stocker as far as traction goes. Don't expect it to climb as well, but I'm hoping for good things in the sand and in the desert.

Definitely. My plans are pretty good for my truck. Hopefully around 3" of lift. 30" tires. And a locker

street trucks are blast, I love how quick my 93' is compared to the runner and a lot of other cars and the gas mileage is great too.

fuel problem

i have a 93 2wd 4runner 3.0 and there has been a fuel smell. i know very little about the mechanics of it. but it seems to be comming off of the 3 small metal fuel lines coming off the front drivers side and running across to the passanger side. i took it to a shop and they replaces the regulator valve, still the smell was going on. i found a mechanic that works out of his house for really cheap. and he replaced the whole fuel rail. fuel injectors, regulator valve and all. and it still smells like fuel. and the smell is still coming off the 3 small lines. but there is no sign of a leak anywhere. does anyone know anything about those 3 small fuel lines and if there could be a pin hole leak in one of them causing it to make my whole garage smell like fresh gas? im tired of throwing money at parts and would love to start throwing that money on up grades and off road parts.

I kinda wish I had a 2wd truck to bomb around in too... after a while, not ever getting stuck when wheeling with buddies gets old

My truck and plans are similar to Russell's except my truck isn't nearly as clean and I don't plan on going quite so low. However, a new bed, a few inches of static drop, Lexus IS rims and paint are definitely in the future, and maybe a 7MGTE swap someday.
