Idling Problems

I have a 93 toyota 4runner and it just started idling really weird when in neutral and when on a incline when in park. In neutral it can go as high as 2000 rpms and when its on a slope in park it will go between 1500 to 2000 rpms on its own for as long as the cars on and on an incline.

I'am taking it to a mechanic but i thought someone might have an idea of what the problem is and possibly a solution.

Hopefully its simple to save you the repair man bill. Check the wiring harness for loose or possible corroded terminals. Or check the injector for possible clog there. Since the ECM (computer) controls the idle, there is very little to check to correct it. I would also check your plugs if you have not changed or cleaned them in a while.
