Idle surge problem 22re

Looked through a good number of posts and couldn't match my exact symptoms so here how it goes. the truck is only surging during braking however it will not surge if the a/c is running or if i engage 4x4 hope that eliminates some causes. Also where is the idle adjust screw, from what i have read thus far this may be the cause but no thread has shown me where it is at. any help is greatly appreciated.

This topic has really been beat to death, but here are some possible causes:

Low Coolant
TPS
Leaking Vacuum lines (holes or tears)
Oxygen sensor going out

The idle adjust screw is on top of the throttle body when the air inlet hose connects.
