Idle problem on 22RE...

Ok, so I've been doing some work on my truck ('90 pickup 5speed 22RE) since I got it and now since put a new thermostat in, the truck actually warms up to proper temperature. I also replaced the TPS cuz the old one got bumped in the process of changing the T-stat and the 20 year old brittle plastic snapped with little effort. So, getting more to the point after all that and proper adjustment (I think) of TPS the truck will idle just fine till it warms to proper temperature then it will die... not all the time but most of the time... So I'm at a loss of what to try.... All input appreciated!!! THANKS!!!

ide start with the cold start injector, it adds extra fuel to the mix when your engine's cold

If you are 100% confident the TPS is proper, set the idle and timing with the engine warmed up, not cold.
Then troubleshoot the cold engine problems.

ok, I will double check the TPS setting and mess with the IAC valve and see what I can figure out.
