I want new rims

I was thinking about hooking up some of the army surplus tires on e-bay. But they fit on 16.5" rims. How do I find 16.5" rims that will fit on my 1994 toyota 4X4? Alternatively, can you put 35X12.50's on a 15X8 rim?

thanks.

I think you just need to find rims with the proper backspacing, lug pattern and width for your application.

Yes, 35x12.50 works fine on a 15x8 rim. 16.5" rims are not terribly good for off-roading, as most/all lack a safety bead, so they do not air down well at all, too easy to lose a bead.
