So I went to check my engine codes and jumped the wrong pins. Now my check engine light doesn't come on at all. even when The key is just in the on position/engine off. Truck will not start.
It is a 1988 4runner 3.0.

Where is my ecu? could it be something else? Any body have a parts truck that they want to sell the ecu out of?

 

your ECU is in the kick panel on the passenger side of the truck.

 

check all the fuses first..
