I lost my beloved truck, but got a replacement.
So a few weeks ago an idiot ran into my truck while paked in front of my house, pushed it 40ft to my neighbor's front wall. The car that hit it caught on fire, which set my truck on fire. And to top it off the person driving the vehicle ran off on foot!
Glad to say that nobody got seriously hurt, but it's hard seeing my truck this way. Fortunately though, insurance gave me a fair price and had a chance to get another truck. I searched for a couple of weeks and got lucky with a craigslist ad about 100 miles away.
The new truck is an 87 4Runner, it has 160k on it with a few minor flaws. I'm in the process of making it a very good daily driver, just like my previous truck. As far as mods, I really don't know yet. Maybe 32s, lockers and a little armor.

They knew who owned the car and the registered address was around the corner from me, but when I asked the police for the address, they said it's an ongoing investigation and the insurance company will be able to give me details when it's done.
