4 banger? he's got the screamin 6, I have a 3.4, and I went with a magnaflow, the actual muffler isnt that expensive, but mine installed with a tips was 300 at meineke, figure about half that if you dont live in NJ, overall, I felt that it sounded a little too ricey, but hey, it is a 6, and I know ebelen is happy with his. I guess Im just used to hearing throaty v8s.

i spent $15 on my glasspack...

i love it..it has a VERY indivudal sound..real throaty and truck sounding. It of course is not as deep as a V8 but still makes me happy.

and i gained some power on the highway..i noticed i dont have to downshift to 4th on grades i used to have to. My exhaust is 2" from the cat to the muffler which is 2" and than out hte stock tailpipe...if i got a 2.25in system im sure i would get an even better performance and louder sound...this all cost me $125 at the local meinke

flowmaster 40 series.... its slightly louder, but it really isn't too loud although i have a downey header, and no cat, with 2 1/2 all the way back to the flow. but SPINDLESHANKS is right, it does kinda drone on the highway, but its not really much louder than the tires.

Just a FYI
Well, my local dealer still has the program.

If long lasting is a concern, get one at Midas. I had one put on my old Camry years ago for $79.00. They give their mufflers a lifetime guarantee. They have really lost their money on me. I've had it replaced at least 4 times since they put the first one on. I know their mufflers are cheap, but I really don't care as long as can get a new one whenever I get a hole in the old one.
