I had a rough ride

I figured I'd share this story incase someone experiences the same thing. When I bought my 85' it had a 4" suspension lift. Driving home when I bought it I noticed that the ride was brutal. My friends didn't want to ride in my truck because it was way too rough. I was telling a friend of mine how rough it was and how it didn't flex at all and he said my shackles were too tight and sure enough, they had been cranked down so tight to where the metal had been bent and the bushings were pressed out. After loosening them, the truck was a hell of a lot smoother and I could finally see why having a solid front axle is so much fun.
