I also really hope you aren't serious about that. Brake fluid is sometimes a mineral oil, or silicon based, but for the most part it is glycol-ether based (DOT 3 & 4). What happens to brake fluid when it gets cold? Pretty much nothing. What happens to 80-90 when its cold? It gets thick. Oil may also react differently to the rubber brake lines and seals than actual brake fluid.

Why would the Mfg use brake fluid if oil would work just as well?

80/90 works the best because it is so thick. You only have to push the pedal a little bit and the brakes lock right up. Its awsome.............

Just to make sure - you've verified the wheel bearing is fine?
