humming/buzzing noise on idle

humming/buzzing noise on idle

i was driving my 92 toyota it has the 3vze/at and when i came to a stop it started making th exhuming/buzzing noise i couldnt tell where its coming from but it was from the front end, i already tried searching and i couldnt find anything on it, if anyone knows whats making it please help and i can lightly hit the throttle and it will go away and as soon as the idle comes back down it starts making it again, anyhelp is appreciated, also the mototr is 100% stock

It does it when the rpms reach a certain spot

"Buzzing" is very likly the PAIR valve, just under the plenum on the passenger side, back toward the firewall.


If you have a "stubby" screwdriver and small hands, you may be able to tighten the four screws. If the screw(s) has fallen out (not unlikely), consider replacing it with the an "Allen" head bolt (5mm x 10). Much easier to tighten with a bent hex wrench.
