I have an oil leak in the big seals, and my first gear synchro is completely gone. Can't shift into first from a stop when warm. What would a shop charge for this?

 

you might be able to get one cheaper in a junkyard then rebuilding your current case, but im not one to ask so just a thought.

It will cost about the same as buying a JDM tranny from these guys. I got an A340h from them and it works great. It has less than 50k or 60k on em and they deliver for free without a need for a core. My shop sells rebuild R150f tranns for 950$ with a 300 core. Are you using the stock chain transfer or upgraded to a gear drive? The chain cases are more to rebuild, but normally without too many mods last forever. Stock 2.28 gear case with 23 spline input goes for 795$ with a 200 core
