how much is this gonna cost me?

facken thief broke the small window got way with my Magellan Roadmate 800 Nav. any way, insurance doesn't cover the Nav because it was an add-on equipment. i have to pay for the window repair out of my own pocket. anybody has any ideas on the $$$$. by the way, the rubber was trashed.

pizz me off because it was parked at a garage with security guards whom are bunch of a-holes less than 50 yards away. thank god nobody was hurt and i had all my tools with me at the time it happened.

The same thing happened to me a few years ago. The window is super easy to fix yourself. THe glass was $35 or so at the dealer I think, but I don't know how much the rubber around costs.

I hate thieves. Why can't they work and make their own money instead of stealing other people's stuff?

Yep 35 is correct the issue is finding the right color tint if yours has any stock tint. The repair is super easy pull the door panel and a couple screws the frame lifts right out. the rubber should be find and no need for you to replace it and the window will slide right in just put a little joy dish soap around the edges and it moves real easy to fit just right. Also take a small screw driver or similir and get all the little pieces of glass out 15-30 job.

No need to take the door panel off if I remember correctly. That's what made it so easy.

I second that. I'd check the junk yards also for the glass, But buy the rubber new from dealer.

well, little bit of good news today, my company paid for my repair, not only for the small window, also they bought me a brand new windsheild. that's cool, because the windshield was pretty dinged up from running in the mojave by the previous owner and myself. now i can see the road crystal clear.

as for the nav., i believe karma will take who ever stole it to the bumpy flaming road he/she were never intended to go to.
