your right X-AWDriver, i am louder and non-envirnomently friendly which is kinda funny because my B&B is completely green, solar, organic, the works!

And i dont run straight pipe, i have a resinator that silences it alittle. And if i work the throttle right, you can't hear the exhaust.

 

I disgress. Illinois did away with emissions testing a few years ago. I took my cat & muffler off and I had a noticable improvment in MPG and power. I put it back on till I can send my cat in for money, and use that for a new ssystem, sans cat.

Besides I love sound un, well..muffled.

 

Hey I know you guys might frown at this being rock crawlers and all (I do quite a bit of off-roading myself), but you might try lowering the front of the truck by two inches via adjusting the torsion bars. Seems to me like I catch less air this way driving down the highway.

 

Actually most people here aren't rock crawlers, more general driving trucks on YT....heck there's even some lowered street trucks with irritating stereos on here. More of the crawlers over on Marlin Crawlers forum.
