I dont mind the 3.0's power stock but i am thinking about to mud drags at Vermonster 4x4. How can i keep up with the 4.0 jeeps?

 

Swap a 3.4 in it and regear to low gears.... That's my best advice

 

Warp drive mod.

 

x2 on the 3.4!

 

x3 on replacing it with the 3.4 or anything else for that matter.... exhaust is about the only 'performance' mod that really does anything for your money and you will for sure be behind the 4.0's

reliable engine, but weak, no way around it. you could drop like $15k and buy a performance 3vze from LCE

 

in the same boat, need moar powah! i cringe every time I'm on the highway and see a hill coming.

 

If your 3vz is running properly and you're still not happy with the power, it's time for a swap.

yes 3.0 will run as long as u make it run but the power is def lacking no really good way to make that engine any better with out a lot of money it would deff be way cheaper to put a better engine in the to try and squeeze out a flittle more hp out of that one

 

Regeat to 5.29 should help but the only way your gonna get the power you want is a turbocharger. Custom of course. Anything else you do will just make you want more

 

supercharged 3.4 swap. look up mtgoats 3.4 swap for all he did.
