heres the lines off the celica. the smaller line could be used on the cold start injector, the large line could be used at the fuel filter. i need to get a longer banjo bolt or something to be able to sandwich the existing line and the added line for the gauge.

 

right now i have $0 in it. found everything in my garage.

 

been back and forth on projects since i posted last but figured i will just try to find a longer banjo bolt m8 x 1.0 for the csi connection and sandwich the line off the celica with the existing line on my 88 truck to make my gauge setup. alls i need is longer m8 banjo bolts, new washers, and a adapter from the m8 to my gauge. im making this a permanent setup with a mount on upper intake. it will only be 6in maybe on the line from the celica which is a factory line for pressurized system, all should look decent, safe, and cheap.i like the lce kit but figure ill be able to do it this way which fits my budget this week.

the double banjo is kinda what i was taliking about.dang! those are from uk! i bet you would have a hard time finding them where im from. all said and done the $19.99 fitting from lce that goes into the cold start injector to 1/8 pipe would be great. im gonna see if napa carries something like that. highly doubtful.

So if I wanted to install an inline fuel pressure gauge for in cab use, where exactly would the best place for the lines be?

What side of the fpr that's factory on the 22re?
I'm probably going to get a fuel pressure tester. Where is best to tap into to check it?

Also, what is the factory fuel pressure for a 22re engine?

 

Gosh. So many questions. Perhaps if you read the thread you just posted to, you might find the answers. All of them.

 

I read through it but didn't see specifically where unless I missed it. I'll look again but don't recall exact locations or sides.

The banjo bolts are available from toyota for around $4.00 each, Toyota refers to them as Bolt Union (Fuel Pipe)

 

Does anyone have a good picture of the fuel pressure gauge connected to their cold start fuel injector they could post up and share?

The simple method. Take an old cold start injector line, cut it off about two inches long, now, drill a bolt so that it will feed your original injector line and your new "tool" banjo bolt. Attache the other end of your shortened cold start injector line to a piece of fuel line and hook it to an old mechanical fuel gauge. Use two clamps on the banjo line, one on the gauge line. You never have to undo anything but your cold start injector bolt to test fuel pressure again. Been using mine for three years now.
