High Idle...........at times.

In my 1990 4Runner (22re) when I first start it up in the morning, and when I come to a stop sign it will idle at around 2 grand. At stop signs I can make the idle come back down to normal by reving it up. But in the morning it comes down after its warmed up. Anyone out there have any ideas of what it might be?? Not to worried about the high idel in the morning but the stop sign thing really bugs me.
