Here it goes..another lift thread...86' runner

So i have searched for hours and its starting to hurt my head!
I know you guys get tired of answering the same questions but just once more please? I have an add-a-leaf in the rear...but as you can tell after 4 months its pretty much back to normal....
I believe i have made up my mind....1.5" BJ spacers in the front and OME 3" springs in the back....from what you have herd and your guys experiences should this be about level and or just a tick higher in the back? also the whole shock thing is driving me nuts! for this application do I stick with stock length or go with something else? Here is a pic of my rig...All i want is 1-2 inches of lift and for it to be level! is that to much to ask? and if anyone believes they have a better answer to my dillema....by all means please share!! Im 17 and poor!lol...Im trying to get a descent lift without spending what i make in a year....could I use longer shackles in this equation to help cut cost?

And to make the lift complete what else will i need? Bushings? in front? rear?

Methinks you answered your own question. That sounds like a good lift to me.

X2, it is pretty good shape for one in the PNW

Shackles: yes you could but springs would be better than dealing with your old saggy ones....
it sucks that Toyota never got the rear springs right in any truck they ever built...

Sounds like a good recipe for a nice rake to me...

The OME springs will be about 4 inches taller than what you have now, and the bj spacer will only lift the front 1.5".

You could use a longer shackle in the rear to get 1.5" lift, but you'd also need a replacement spring pack so that extra 1.5" starts from a stock lift location or else it will just get you level again.

If I had a runner, which I don't, I'd probably do the Zuk coil spring fix for a saggy butt with a 1.5" lift shackle in the rear and the bj spacer up front. I'm pretty sure he was actually getting some lift over stock with it but I'd probably use it to return to stock height and then the shackle for lift to equal the front.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, here's a link:

That truck is gorgeous. I know it's almost sacrilege to suggest not wheeling your truck but maybe just don't bang up the outside too much. That's one of the nicest 1st gens I have seen in a while.
