3m is what I used. Pretty good stuff,I bought like 3 cans because I used it on the insulation also. Make sure you spay both surfaces really good and the corners and edges good as well. Wait till tacky and then stick'em together good to go. Mine turned out ok.. but the previous owner bought the cheapy carpet kit and never installed it so i was stuck with what i had. My advice is dont skimp on the carpet kit the the ones that have the pre cut holes are way way better. Have some acetone on hand because that glue get sticky fast. The best advice i can give you is take your time on the install.

this is what it looks like now. i already got dirty foot prints on it lol



i also gave my greenlee tool box a coat of rustoleum hammer tight. on the drivers side of my tool box there is a nice crease... never let your friends borrow your box...
