Helpful Hint for Tree Dents :)

I've been wheelin lately and my backend slides over into a tree, putting a nice dent in side of bed.
So I was putting on a set of Bushwacher fenderflares while I had the inner finder's out I got an idea so I took a flat nose shovel and worked it up between the outside fender and the bedliner. With just a little prizing "pop" the dents came out. After I started working the shovel up and down you could see it working the metal.
Just wanted to pass that on for those that see the dents every time they look in the mirror... Merry Christmas !!!

sweet thanks. I think the paint on my truck is original. The paint on the hood comes off with a rag and the paint on the sides is decent but it scratches so easily when I brush trees and bushes.

only problem with rhino lining is the weight. It's really heavy over a whole truck. But still very effective.

so your saying a few buckets of paint limits that much power? wow. i only like the little dents about softball size, and your truck needs to look like a wheeler, otherwise it looks like some dumbass drunks truck who cant seem to see things coming at him or cant seem to stop hitting trees

On smaller dents, I use the suction cup, but on bigger dents, I get out the BFH

the toilet plunger will work only if the dent is on an area big enough to get a good seal on the plunger. so it cant be on a corner or crease.

I'm gonna have to agree with sonofmayhem here. I heard a guy going on and on about how much this stuff weighs. I figure, to do a whole truck, TOPS would be like 50 lbs. TOPS. If i put on the rhino lining, then sweat that poundage off of my fat ass, i'd be good to go. Besides, folks hang a bumper, winch, sliders, rear bumper, and big ol tires, a little heavy paint aint gonna slow you down much more

dry ice

Dry Ice can get dents out as well. You must be careful of the paint. However, if you're going to rhino coat then you don't have to worry about paint. I have my heart set on forest green rhino coat for the entire 4runner.

dry ice can shrink the metal just enough to pop out very minor dents like from hail damage. Anything over say half an inch and it will probably not work and definatly nothing with a crease.
