Help Wiring Gauges

I'm trying to hook-up my pillar gauges and want advice for where to snag ignition power and headlight power. Any suggestions?

Find an ignition and headlight switched wire I suppose? Headlight wire could come from the headlight wiring harness, I grabbed mine from the parking light circuit. I forget where I got my switched power from, probably an unused fuse block connection and ran that to a terminal strip I added. Whenever I add something, I just run another wire to the terminal strip and I am good to go.

I'm wondering if there is any wiring, junction box or fuse block under the dash that I could tap into instead of having 100 wires go through a giant grommet in my fire wall.

And I'd like somebody's experience before I go and tear my dash apart looking for hook-ups that aren't there.
