It sounds like I have a flat tire or I'm running on the highway rumble strips on the shoulders. It is not constant though.

I think it might have to do something with the steering. My power steering pump leaks and I need to refill every 2 months or so. Could this be it?

Could it be one of the belts? I'm not sure when it was replaced.

The truck is at 201k mi.

Any suggestions?

 

well it's gone now. i drove it during linch and no sign of the noise.

could it have been the fuel pump? i was very low on gas before it started.
