sounds like you need to ay off the weed your self come back and work on your rig when your sober as for why it wont go any faster well its got a 3slow so yeah not going to be fast whats the miles on it and has the head gasket recall been done to it yet?

as for anything else id check the timing
-filters all
-fluids all
-cel codes
-air tyre preesure
-and everything else that it needs to go from your right foot (or left) to the ground tyres trany engine ecu everything

everyone's already pretty much given you the best advice- check your trans fluid, maybe change it and the filter, etc. I've noticed on several automatics I have owned that low fluid can cause the trans to not upshift to the next gear. You've got access to a FSM so go for it.
