motor cuts in and out while offroad???
95% of the time when i'm offroad it seems like my motor bogs and cuts out, almost like it stalls but doesn't. it gets real bad if i try to dump the clutch
it's a 92 pickup dx, 22re, 5 speed, 4x4 with 31/9.5 tsl's.
i only played in the mud once when i had the 30/9.5 michelins that came on the truck (and old clutch) and could dump the clutch with no problem. the motor wouldn't bog or cut out.
i put the tsl's on the truck, and a new napa clutch a couple weeks later, and ever since it's been acting weird. (i never went muddin with the tsl's and old clutch)
could it be the tires? the new clutch? the motor?
i know, i'm horrible at explaining things....

it doesn't usually get wet, i think it's about time for a new cap anyways.
and i heard sealing off the cap can make moisture build up inside? does anyone know it that's true?
