Help identifying diagnostic connector

I have an 87 4runner with an 85 motor, I have looked at all the pics I could find online for ID'ing the connector, but cannot be sure. Here are the likely culprits...

I am guessing that it is the one in the middle since it has two wires going in and two going out. If this is the connector I jump for checking CEL codes, is it also the connector used when setting the timing?

Being an 87, it looks like it is broken off, see if it isnt by chance laying nearby. The 87s diag plug is on the passenger fender like you are showing. It is also the one you jump to set your timing.

How to get Check Engine Codes. I just put this up for others. Applies to 87 and up. 86 and older is the bottom picture.

The Diagnostic port for the 85-86 is on the Drivers side inner fender and is nothing the same as the 87 and up. Here is T1 and E1 jumped. The codes and engine flashes are the same as the rest of the trucks on the dash.
