Help! with engine starting
Whats up guys thanks for checking this out if you think you can help. I rebuilt my 22R block in my 1986 Runner I had help when I was working at a service department so I'm pretty confident in the rebuild but I put the engine in myself and I can not get it started when you turn the key over to crank it everything turns off and won't come back on for a few minutes but only if you try and crank it but not in the on posistion so i can try to get the engine to crank over by turning the key on and bypassing it by using a wire from the battery to the starter but all it does is turn over no noise like it's trying to start or anything ive checked fuses, relays, wires, connections, coil, distributor all with a test light, Also I'm not exactly sure where the cold start injector fuel line goes I bought a Haynes repair manual and it doesn't say anything about it I'm not ready to give up yet I don't have the money to buy a new truck I like it alot and don't want to make the mistake of selling it and someone else fixing and then I have to see it driving around town I've already done that once before and I really put alot of work into this truck before I had to rebuild the engine I know this is alot of work but if anyone could help me a little bit at a time I would Greatly appreciate it. Thanks, New guy
