help with engine light

Hello,
I have a 1989 Toyota Pick up with a recently replaced engine, after driving for about 6 months the check engine light came on. I have taken it to my mechanic and the toyota mechanic and they cannot figure it out. the codes read 25 and 26. We replaced the oxygen sensors with no luck of fixing the problem. the toyota guys say it is running rich and lean--but this shouldn't be possible. the truck runs fine, althrough I have to adjust the throttle every now and then. how can I fix the check engine light, what is wrong?
