Hello and thank you for info

I found this forum yesterday and read for about 5 hrs. Today I dropped my 94 p/u off at the dealership. I am driving a RAV4 loaner and they are doing both the N50 and the VO6 recall work on my truck. This even after I called the 800# and they said the VO6 (head gasket) recall was over. I went to the dealer armed with knowledge I had found here and my 227k truck is getting a face lift. My name is David and I want to say thanks for the info provided here

Hey that's great! Call them in the morning and tell them that you want new headbolts installed. If they say they're not included or not needed insist on it even if you have to pay out of pocket for them.

I am going by there in the morning and that will be my first order of business. Any idea what those run if I pay. It does not matter but I am trying to figure out what other things I can afford while they are in there. Thanks

Really doesn't matter what they cost, probably $60 or less. You'll have problems in the future if you don't replace the TTY bolts. You may want to have them look at the timing belt while they're in there, maybe the water pump and thermostat. If I were you I'd have them replaced as they should not charge you any labor just OEM part cost, ask them.
