Height measurement

Sorry to ask such a stupid question, but I'm confused. I have a stock 94 p/up and was wondering if the measurements from top of the rim to fender is supposed to be the same all around the entire truck. The truck seems to be sitting level, but the measurements are all different. The front sides are about a 1/2 " off, while the rear measurements are way less than the front ones. Are the springs bad in the back, or is the rim/fender measurement supposed to be way different in the rear than in the front. Thanks for the help.

There is also a link to a FSM manual here that shows the ride height for the various vin numbers & how to measure to find out if you are out

The rear fenders aren't cut as high as the fronts. If they're 1" or more different than your fonts, your springs are pretty sagged.

Neither of my trucks sits perfectly level, but on my '94 the fronts are pretty damn close.

A full or empty gas tank can even cause them to lean a bit.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the front fenders are cut bigger because of it being IFS!!!
Meaning more wheel travel up front!!

OK so I've been searching, and the only thing I get is lift forums in my searches. My rim to fender height for the rear is at about 12.5". Is this sagging? If so, I was looking to get a leaf spring pack with a little lift. Would 2" of lift from a downey or OME springs be way higher in the back than in the front with a 1.5 bj lift w/o cranking the t bar? Or will it be unnoticable. Also, would the 2" lift springs be alot stiffer opposed to stock springs? Just looking to level out the back with the BJ spacers up front. Should I buy new stock level springs and use shackles, or buy a new lifted pack. Thanks for the help.

Get the FSM

It list every combo of tires that came OEM

But since VERY FEW people run the OEM tire size (225/75R15)... its kinda moot

13.5" - 14" is near stock according to this page:
http://toyota.off-road.com/toyota/ar....jsp?id=398514

And to check for level, measure up from the ground to the frame at two points along the flat section. Then adjust any height difference for the wheel base to get the front-rear difference. So if you measure say 1/2" difference at 2 points 51" apart, then double that to get 1" difference at the 102" wheel base.

As noted above, the rear wheel well is cut lower than the front, so no that won't be the same for the rear. See my post above for how to measure for levelness, if that is what you are after.
