Heater only works when accelerating?..

Hey, just as the title says.....I've searched and didn't find anything so if you could give me some ideas as to what might be wrong or where to look for the answers that'd be great. It blows, but goes cold when I stop at a light.....as I'm driving it's as hot as can be assuming the engine temp. is up. thanks

I would guess a partially clogged heater core, or a bad water pump. It looks like you're not getting enough coolant flow through the heater at lower engine speeds.

Check your coolant level, when coolant is low the heat will quit working at low rpm
