Heater core bypass

Anyone know how to bypass the heater core so no water flows to it, just to the engine?

Loop the heater hoses from the best place to get at them.

Alright thanks. I was just looking to temporarily block it because previously it was contaminated with some additive someone put in and it ran through the whole system. So I had to rebuild the engine. So now i have to see if i can flush or clean it with water.
