headlight not illuminating
88 pickup
Had a blown driver's side headlight. Switched it out with a new one. The new one worked when I checked it. Didn't work that night. Tried switching bulbs and passanger side bulb didn't work either, but the driver's side worked in the passanger side.... So thought it was a fuse or connection. But why would the old bulb not work, a new one work briefly, then not work either.
-checked fuses, all seem fine unless there's one I don't see.
-Seems like a loose connection problem, rather than a major electrical problem.
Any tips or advice would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Shamus

Check that you have a good connector. My driver side low beam was out, but the high beam worked. When I reversed the connection, the low beam worked, the high didn't. Turned out it was a corroded wire, inside the connector. Just replaced the connector, no troubles.
