Dont run HID's in halogen housing!!
All you need to do is buy a set of these:

Build a heavy duty headlight harness like this

Then buy a brand name set of high wattage H4s. I am currently running Hella 100/80w bulbs and love them. You can see everything so clear and when I turn on the high beams the entire road lights up.
You can get this whole setup for about $100 depending on how much you want to spend on the harness

Please don't buy a set of cheap HID's.
You'll burn every driver's retina's out due to terrible pattern and cut off.
It's really a waste of money.
If you want to go the HID route, please do it properly, for our sake.
If you want half decent lights right now, go out and buy some sylvania's or whatever the top end bulbs are now.
If you have your heart set on an H4 conversion, make due with the provided bulbs or step it up to some high-end bulbs you can buy locally.
In any case, upgrading your wiring harness will greatly improve your light output, as said above, your 17-23 year old wiring harness probably won't cut the mustard. It will cut down on your light output and can potentially be dangerous if you ignore us all and do the HID conversion anyway.
Above all else, a properly aimed headlight is better than any improperly aimed conversion or bulb. Spend the time and aim you headlights. You may not need to upgrade your headlights at all....

your being stubborn this site is giving plenty of info your just not hearing what you want to hear "selective hearing". They are only telling you from their knowledge whats the best for you and the drivers that are on the road with you

i just installed these the other day and they are plenty bright and white. huge difference over OE. just another option and it should be around $50 and will take >5 minutes to do.

autopals with nice bulbs and a nice harness are your best budget friendly bet. If you HID autopals or hella ecodes you'll have a mediocre cut off and wont really blind people all that much, but you wont have the cut off, the width, the intensity, or the distribution of light that projectors give you.
"budget" and "HIDS" don't go together, that's like "I'm on a budget, I need to re-use ball joints and tie rods" I mean ... safety bud ... safety ...

Make sure you read it.
Do this and you will be happy. Dont waste your time or money on the sealed beams. Sealed beams will never be as bright as the H4s will.

That be what I'm runnin,^^^, lol. They're plenty adequate for my needs, for now, especially considering I had a gift card and coupon which ended up putting 2 of them at around 8$ for me!
hehe. Much improved over the standard halogens.... I will be doing the ROUNDEYES-KIT in summer when I HOPEFULLY have some saved up to do that and the rest of the armor/trans, etc. ,etc., etc. .....oh you get the point, it never ends. haha.
However; 5 minutes? yeah, guess my 'alignment of things' up there isn't what it used to be.... Wasn't so simple to do without pulling the grill(don't wanna do that until I replace all the clips....they just disinagrate upon 'messin with', lol. )

If your going to spend $40-$50 on Silverstar bulbs just get the H4's housing and bulbs for the same price.
H4s are way better than any sealed beam. Plus there are alot more choices on brands and bulbs to choose from.
