it seems i am plagued....this morning my engine started spitting out white smoke like crazy... well i'm assuming this is the headgasket. it really pisses me off because the engine is a remanufactured longblock with less than 15k miles on it. and i re torqued the head bolts when i was supposed to after break in. anyways there's no coolant in the oil, just burning out the exhaust. i'm going to fix it and then put er up for sale..... has sliders now

 

Do you have a warranty on the re-manufactured engine?

 

So is this like the second time it did this? Throw in those MLS head gasket instead of graphite and a set of new head bolt's using OEM spacer.

yeah it has a warranty. its from oregon engine rebuilders. but it costs me more to ship it back than the hg kit. i got my first engine from them about 2 years ago. a year later, 2 of the pistons somehow were fried and now the hg is bad on another engine. i'm about to call and see whats up..and it had the MLS gaskets already...
