Which Headers for 2nd Gen 4Runner?

I have a 91 4Runner and thinking about installing headers. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it for the money to install a good set of headers? Do headers on a 22re help out alot or is it a minor improvement in power? Also what brands? I have ruled out pacesetter. Any opinions on OBX, LC, Downey for fit, quality and performance? Thanks guys...

On a 22re I've run the Thorley headers for about 15 years. I'm at about 6,000 feet. The engine breaths better and runs about 5% better. It was worth the money for the gains.

i have the LC header and i am satified with it, it seems very good quality and doesnt leak or anything like that. I cant really compare on power, because i put them on when i rebuilt my engine, along with a couple other things so i dont know what was the headers or not. but they fit right in, i had to remove a heat shield and extend the o2 sensor(the wiring to do so came with it) and that was it.

lce, thorley, downey, NWOR, all are good. forget everything else, and definitely get ceramic coated. you will really regret it down the road if you don't go ceramic.
