i've been debating on getting a header for my 22r. i found a good used one at a decent price but it doesnt have the ports or holes on it to bolt the copper tubes on mine that wrap around the back of the motor to the intake. i suggested it was for the a 22re but buddy swears it came of his carbed 22r. is there a way to eliminate these tubes with a header or is it for a 22re not a 22r.

 

yeah theres a way to eliminate the tubes, their for your EGR, they sell plates that bolt right up to where the ports are, and seal em up, as for the copper tubes, you can kink them or pinch them off, i dun have them on my truck so i have no idea what to do with them... hope this helps
