Head light help

So I bought some new headlights from roundeyes.com. My problem is they are rectangle and the ones on my 4runner are not exactly rectangle. I ordered them and did not think much of it til the next day when I looked. The lights are in route as I type anyone know if they will work or do I need a diff grill or just sell them?

They are going on a 1995 4runner SR5 with the 3.0.

Really hard to say without more info... your truck has the euro-style headlight with the H4 lamps... if you ordered an H4 conversion kit lens then no they will not work... a grill swap might be a possible option... it would certainly make your runner stand out... when they get there if they won't work maybe you can return them? I'd check with roundeyes... other then that you can always re-sell them if you can't do anything else with them...
Check our classified section many of our members have parts for sale and may be able to help you.

btw Welcome to the family...

Thanks for the reply and it looks like they are the conversion ones here is a link.

So what would I look for as far as a grill swap if they fit could I do a plug swap from a sealed beam or will that not work? I guess I really need to research before I blow $109. I saw them on a 4runner and did not think it would be a problem.

Yeah those wont work. Up till 91 the 4runner used the same 200mm rectangle headlights, but in 92 they changed them to composite H4 (non sealed beam).

To make your new headlights work would require changing the rad support.

My suggestion, clean your housings and buy some 80/100w bulbs

Not what I wanted to hear, more hassle than it is worth. Lesson learned, I can return these so that is a plus. My current housings have rock chips and are pretty bad. I will live with them until I come across some nice used ones or new ones that are less than 100 a side.
