Hauling with the 3.0
I swear, I couldn't even tell this load was there.
Bilstein Shocks - OME HD Springs (4 springs plus an overload spring).
The 3.0 pulled very well - hardly noticed it was there like I said. This is a yard of bark mulch. I'm not sure of the weight but the truck handled it like a champ.
1.5" left roughly to the stops. Not bad! It's worth the crappy ride unloaded.
Unloaded
Loaded - oh and the neighbours like Toyota's too
1.5" left to the stops roughly...thank god for the OME Springs & Bilstein shocks - controls the load like a champ.

Hey coed looks sweet, these trrucks will handle a load like no one's business I had a load like that plus a trialer once no worries. Curious though what are the square tubes for? did the previous owner have a camper? or are they for a funky rack?

Yeah the previous owner had a camper and he also put the OME HD springs on. I could also put something in those holes if I wanted to create a tie down system perhaps for like a car top boat to put on top of my canopy or something like that. I opted to keep the bars on the truck (would have to hack saw them off). They're expensive to buy/have installed, and they're a good selling feature if I ever want to sell the truck and the next owner wants a camper, etc. so I figured I'd leave them. Who knows, maybe I'll want a small camper down the road, but I opted not to buy the camper at the time I bought the truck - isn't really my thing just yet anyways.

NICE! My old shed in my side yard fell apart last year (about 8'x8', All wood framed, 2 layers of comp. shingles), so I hacked it up with the sawzall to haul it off. I had the whole thing loaded in my truck, stacked about 6" above the cab, and I swear you couldn't even see any sagging whatsoever. And I have stock springs!
