Hate my mirrors!

The mirrors on '90 Ext Cab SR5 Suck! No other way to describe them, Yes, they're power operated. Has anyone actually changed over to another style or make of power mirror on their trucks? Kinda curious to see what if any, options are out there.

LOL Well, it's not about failure, mine work fine. I'd prefer something a little larger in mirror size. Oh, and I hate my manual ones on my '91 as well! Oh yeah, hate my boy's '87 runner power mirrors too! Ya, I know
whine, whine, whine

Not sure to be honest. I've done a little parking lot research over the past few weeks and it seems that newer (2000 & up) mirrors are larger. I was hoping to save some time if any others had made mods or outright swaps.

doubtful, it prolly wouldn't be anywhere NEAR easy if you did the swap.

the mirrors on my 4runner aren't big like the ones that were on my '02 dodge diesel (fold out towing mirrors ) but they're big enough for sure.

anything bigger and they'd look goofy lol..like havin BIG EARS!

I installed the larger 2gen 4runner mirrors on my 94 when I converted to power windows SR5 interior. If you already have power mirrors it will be a plug n play mod. the even bigger 3gen mirrors would be a bigger headache since the mount point is larger but you might be able to macgyver something.

i dont know why we even need mirrors LOL i take my 4runner through trees that hit my mirrors when the trail is barley wide enough for it. and i hate going to manual tocoma tiny mirrors from my awsome electric big 4runner mirrors.

Hey WJC,

I'll take your mirrors if you ever change them out. I love em'. Let me know, I'll take them off your hands. For me if I ever decide to change it, I would go for the uh... Jeep ones..please don't blast me
