Talking had enough of 3.slow

I had planed on pulling and swapping in another 3slow. i have 3 3slows in the garage. long story short 90-engine out of my truck (deer stepped out making it a donor truck), 91 3slow with trans froma 4x4 shop (it will not rotate), lastly the new 91 4runner to build its engine chuggs sound like running on 3 cylinders.
i pulled the 91 engine and was to swap in the 90 only to find that the master bearing leaks. I was looking at rebuilding one of the engines and broke down the costs(machining, parts, cams) and will not rebuild any of them. For the price the return is not great. i did find a place that does cam grinds for $100 aside.

I have been looking into ford 5.0 with c4 trany swap since it is lighter that sbc v6 0r 350. I did find that a find friend who has a suburban with a sbc350 police intercepter engine in it. A little horse trading and I have a sbc 350 to put in to make the runner fly.

Once I start the swap I will write up more on it.
I will pull out the 3slow and drop trany out. This will make it easier to swap the bell house and mount the sbc 350 to it.

Tend to agree with bigliltruck but a sbc350 is nothing to laugh at. Good find. Cant wait to read the writeup.

I have never understood the need for V8 power in Toyota but to each his own I guess.

Good luck with the swap.

Oh........

You are doing what the previous owner of mine was doing. LOL

Here I am trying to get a 3slow running in mine and you are pulling yours out like a bad tooth!

By accident or chance do you have a pin out of connector IH1 '91 I need to know which pins are hot (+B) so I can get mine started.
