Grelims in my truck!

Grelims in my truck!
A few months back I put a 22RE engine out of a 92 pickup(auto) into a 84 4x4(manual). Was using it to make firewood out in the woods and everything was working great until a few days ago.
What is happening is whenever I get into a hard pull going forward the EFI fuse burns out. However, when I go in reverse through even harder pulls everything works as it should. I tried putting it into gear and holding down the clutch and raving the engine and no burned out fuse. There are no wires that are connected to the transmission or the clutch.
Any ideas?

Check the wires in the efi harness for chaffing and shorts.
When you're going forward, it would cause unsupported wires to swing backwards. Maybe contacting another wire, or the firewall and causing an electrical short.
But going in reverse would casue the same unsupported wire to swing forwards. Away from simething like the firewall.
Thats were I would start atleast.
