Green switch next to steering wheel?

I've got a 92 pickup standard 4x4 v6 extended cab. There is a green switch next to the clutch cancel button on the left side next to the steering wheel. Does anyone know what it is? The light in the switch flickers on and off every now and then, obviously some electrical issue, but i have no idea what the switch is for...

IIRC that's the Idiot Eject Button, you gotta hold it down for a minimum of 10 seconds, make sure the seatbelts aren't on and your vehicle isn't moving.

I would agree cargo light, but on my 01 tacoma was the "power" button.
Green button in my 86 is a power button on my console.

92 trucks dont have a cargo light.

Its aftermarket, likely for an alarm or similar.

I would agree that it is aftermarket. Mine has a switch there for the rear offroad light

Green switch? It must turn on the carbon credit mode. It's probably linked to Al Gore since it blinks on and off intermittently.

Or maybe it's the targeting light... click it when it's lit and the hybrid in front of you blows up.

Its like the old Christmas movie "Its a Wonderful Life" Everytime a bell rings an angel gets its wings. Everytime it flashes green a Toyota gets a lift! I had to add to the Shananiganz. I have never seen this switch before. Definately aftermarket in my opinion. I know that I have had to trace wiring several times on old 4Runners I have bought. Good luck!
