Good Burp

I can't get the the air pocket out of the heater core, I have tried pouring in at the hose to the core. I have tried parking on a steep hill and pouring in the rad. Anybody have a better idea I hate hearing the coolant in the core!

Man I hope somebody's got the answer to that one-- it gets a little aggravating after a while!

First, make sure the cap is good, so it will draw coolant back in from the recovery bottle. Then when its cold, open the cap, top it off right to the top. After running it, and cooling it back down, make sure system has no air and eventually, the air will be purged out.

Have you tried burping it by running the engine with the rad cap off, and the heater on full blast?

I usually turn the car on and put the heater all the way on and then just add coolant as it disapears.
