Getting ready to repair frame w/pics

SInce I know you all like pics....

I pulled off the bed and am taking the truck to my frame welder next week. JR does excellent work as welding is the only thing he has ever done. The frame really doesn't look too bad. Most of the rust holes are confined to the inside of the frame especially behind the tank. I had to buy a new fuel pump bracket since the fuel line on top of the tank was corroded bad enough to leak. I also had to scrounge a fuel filler pipe from a junker since mine feel apart when I pulled the bed off. I will have to rebuild at least one mounting point on the bed, but for the most part the bed is in good condition as far as rust. here in my state they have a vehicle inspection program and according to it ANY non factory frame weld is grounds for automatic rejection, so we will have to make sure the repairs blend in cosmetically. After everything is welded up I am going to clean and prep the frame and coat it inside and out with POR15 topped off with some semi-gloss black paint.

That looks a lot of looks like my Landcruiser frame. Probably almost as cheap to find a decent frame and pick it up. I had my frame plated, but its definitely not as strong as stock.
