genuine head gasket diference

going to rebuild my engine and found the 87 22rte use a head gasket part# 11115-35030, looking for a 94 model part is 11115-35060,wonder if the 94 gasket is better,any side to side comparison or the last parts supersedes the early one?

I'm glad your going to use an oem head gasket, worth the extra money to get!!!

oem or stuck at home lol.
i know the gasket i got from the dealer was different from factory. addition of silicone over chain cover and i think around each cylinder. update?

yea,the felpro is holding well the extra turbo boost,but getting parts to rebuilt the engine and decide to use oem gasket with arp studs and epn 268 cam.

get the gasket today,nice work from toyota,its almost full metal on one side,i saw a few days ago in my local autoparts an Apex gasket for 22r that was similar but not sure about material quality.

Really? I've heard that engnbldr's head gasket is an oem (or just as good anyway). When I talked to the guy at engnbldr he said they were oem quality and everybody says he's an honest guy. I'm gonna buy his "turbo" head gasket kit anyway because it comes with the turbo specific exhaust gasket and the other gaskets I need,but I may buy a head gasket from the dealer anyway just to feel better about it. It is a turbo motor,so it's gonna have more heat/pressure to deal with.

Search on here for Rock Head Gaskets...let me know what you think?

Toyota has upgraded their gaskets to me very high quality...china hasn't figured out the quality thing yet.
