Arrow gearing the 3 slow

i have a toyota pickup with 33's and im wanting to get better gas milage than 12 and dont wanna run 3000 rpm at 65 so i was considering regearing this mammoth down to 5.29s because this would give it plenty of torque but from the calculators that ive used i would be running 2650 @70 so probaly 2500-2600 @ 65 because my truck is an automatic just want the best power/mgp ratio would this be to low? Idk which tranny i have but would love to know if these RPMs are what i would get ? Any info is highly appreciated thanks guys

What gearing is in it now? I have 4.56 and 32's and I run about 2900~3000 at 70 mph on the highway. Im thinking 5.29's are way to low for 33s even for the auto. I have a 5 sp so I know that makes a difference but im also getting 18-20 mpg's...

a good tune up, bump the timing to 15* plus, run higher octane gas and an egr/pair delete if you dont have to pass smog, and maybe a 5 sp swap cuz i know the auto is a real dog. read the door tag and do some research to see what gears are in it

for 33s:

4.88s if you're a 5 speed. 5.29s if you're an auto.
