Gear changes in 95 4Runner 3.0 Auto

OK 1 & 2nd gear seem to be fime. My problem is, is that it seems to take long from 2nd to 3rd gear. Seems to chenge into 3rd at around 45-48 mph, is this normal? All fluids seem to be fine.

alot of it depends on how far you have your foot into it, a heavy foot will make it take a while, also do you have your ECT on or off?
