Gauge Cluster Help?

Gauge Cluster Help?
I bought this 87 runner, someone put the SR5 Gauges in it, but they don't work. The tach is at 0 for idle, gas gauge does nothing, Voltmeter reads near the top while running, and the temp is at half on startup and "warms up" to the top. A little help!!

I THINK that with that gen Runner and PU you have to do some wire modifications when you swap an SR5 cluster in to make everything work right, but take that with a grain of salt...
do a search on the install for a 1st gen Runner or 2nd gen PU to make sure
if that's the case, maybe the previous owner wasn't aware of this and just swapped the cluster assymbly out and never touched the wires plugging into it, thus the problem
